This is my first blog ever that I created. There were many motivations to started to write some posts, and I would like to share my top five reasons. Don't matter the order, all of them are very important to me.

Here are my motivations why I started my blog:

Communication skills

I'm not a native English speaker and it's a big challenge to write posts in a language different but after I created this blog, it's helping me to improve my communication skills and my writing in English (win-win ๐Ÿ˜„). I'm learning new vocabulary constantly, finding new phrases that I can use, knowing new ways to express the same idea, so on.

When I'm writing my drafts, I usually take notes about any idea that comes to my mind like brainstorming (even it's not related to the topic ๐Ÿ˜‚), some sentences that I can use inside the final version post, grammar tenses about my phrases is it about the past, present, or future? checking if there are some typos, punctuation marks, and other things related to how I can write a better post and without some mistakes.

If you write some posts, it's common also many questions come to you. For instance, about the extension or number of words, Is it correct? Is it short or long?, Does it express all ideas that I want to communicate? Is it easy to read and understand?, Are all thoughts organized?, etc.

I don't have great communication skills but I want to improve them, I'm learning and practicing a lot, while I'm writing my posts. My goal is to improve in every post that I wrote.

Share

As people in technology like Frontend, Backend, Mobile developers, DevOps specialists, Quality Assurance Engineers, and people in general, we're reading a lot of blogs, tutorials, forums, tech news, magazines, etc because we want to know latest languages programming, libraries, frameworks, and stay updated.

I'm not an expert but as a way to recognize the great and hard work that creators content did and they're doing every day and contribute in some way to the community I want to share a few things I learned, some problems I had, and how I could solve them.

Confidence

Before I was writing my first article, I was so scared, ashamed, insecure, and other strange feelings. I didn't have any idea what topic I can write or share, I told myself "What topic will be interesting", "I have enough knowledge to share it", and "there was someone who will read it". At this moment I had many doubts and questions.

But despite everything, I wanted to get over my fears. I could write my first post and publish it. I'm happy about it ๐Ÿฅณ. Of course, I still have fears but I tried to prevent them in some way like ask for help, learn new things, write with more frequency, take notes for future articles, and read a lot.

To write an article is a big challenge, but all people can do it ๐Ÿ˜„, even If you believe that you don't have something you share with the world. People always have an incredible story that they tell us, some tip or trick about some tool or language programming, "What thing they did learn today?", "How did they solve some problem?", "What decisions did they take to reach some goal?", and so on. Don't matter if it's very easy or advanced, people are excited to read things about technology or others topics.

You can do it, and don't give up! ๐Ÿ˜„ Fortunately, there're many incredible people who are willing to help you, you can contact them and I'm sure that they give you a hand.

Growth and new friends

It is usual that blog platforms have comments sections, some links that you can click if you want to share some post to your social networks, and other kinds of buttons as "Like", "Hearts", "Claps", etc. The comment section it's a place where our visitors can leave some questions or comments.

Another challenging time is when someone can leave a question ๐Ÿ˜ฎ about your article, and you might not have any answer immediately, you need to research it, ask for help from your friend, teammate, or an expert. Finally, you can answer this question. Don't feel bad, nobody knows all things, you can always learn something every day.

When you face those situations. You're out of your comfort zone, but at the same time, you're growing a lot, and learn ๐Ÿ˜„ (another win-win), and Last but not least It's allowed to make mistakes, nobody is perfect. Fortunately, the comment section isn't only to ask questions, it's a great place to interact with many people, write nice comments ๐Ÿ’› that can motivate the creator to write more articles, receive positive feedback, and it's possible you meet new friends.

Habit

Why habit? Because writing a post, It's a difficult job, It needs time, a plan, research about some topic, a lot of brainstorm and drafts. A post requires much work, concentration, and as Sam Julien mentioned "System > Motivation". Also, he taught us that we should follow this system: write a draft (I write many times every post that I published ๐Ÿ˜„), create our post, publishes, promotes, and update it over time.

For me, follow a plan represents a habit and self-discipline. I feel that write an article is helping me to stay my concentration, focus on my goals, and identify what topics I would like to learn, explore, and share.

In conclusion with this article, I wanted to share my main motivations to start my blog, of course, they aren't unique. Every person has your own reasons, and I'd like to read or hear about them.

For now, It's all. Thanks for your time and reading!

See you until the next article! Have an incredible day!๐Ÿ˜„
